Do you recognize your sinful actions? Can you define the existence of God?

http://www.blogtalkradio.com/tabernaclefaith/2016/04/13/midnight-salvation-the-existence-power-of-god-usurps-illuminati-1

The core of spiritual darkness that looms over a person is when they have one stronghold that they cling to that overrules their life that is against the true nature of God.  This kind of person can build on this philosophy with their own version of truisms but at the end of the day they are left in misery and remain in darkness.  Full obedience and repentance of sin is the only way to cleanse one's carnality and turn over one's will to God.  The first step is being willing to change one's way.  I know a person who clings to spiritual darkness and he lashes out on others when things are going poorly for him.  I don't think he even realizes he does it.  In his own mind, he is holding his distance from people.  Others can perceive he is on the brink of emotional shutdown but instead of turning to his closest friends, he tries to punish people in his present for the things he experienced in the past.  In the book, "Healing the Shame that binds you," there is a chapter on grace, guilt and debt collecting.  A person who hates their mother per se, will engage in power struggles with women he perceives as a threat.  A woman who had negative experiences with her father, will attempt to punish men she dates or are involved with on some other personal level.  The debt collector transfer their unresolved childhood anger onto to people they target as a threat.  Instead of stepping back and trying to define the reasons he/she may resent this person, they just use their emotional imbalance as a weapon.

The attached link is not about blaming or debt collecting.  It is about an unlikely debate between two Christians and one adult caller on our show who is unsure of his spiritual identity and was fielding a bunch of questions about God, eternity and destiny.

Resisting Temptation not that hard

Remember that movie with Michael Douglas called The Game or something like that?  He knows the world is playing a trick on him, he senses it all around him.  He knows he is going to get dogged before he steps out with his final outrage but he persists among carnage and chaos because he is determined.  For what, he does not know.  He knows the outcome will not be pretty but in order for someone to record his rage, he will continue.  That is what its like dealing with the Irish guy.  I cannot solve the problem of his falsity and I will no longer try.  I am in Mexico already with a t-shirt that says "You've been screwed" or something similar.  There is no making up between the damned.  Damned for thinking about it.  Damned for trying to engineer the sins and lies. Its a phony solution to a real problem.  to be continued.....

Church Beware/Writers Beware

http://www.absolutewrite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11410

Story Confirmed. I was researching a topic for my radio show and decided to do it on Church dissension and those who create it. I myself was once involved in a church scandal that was short lived where I felt I was duped by the charismatic leader, although not the Pastor. I remember that between 1995-99, there was a church member who was from the East Coast, business driven and always in promotions. He had recently been hired to do a promotion on a theatrical play and I rode along with him to the play where he could discuss his strategy with the playwright. He seemed to be in a whirlwind and basically confused about how to promote it....aka inexperienced. I didn't know if the playwright picked it up. This was my first impression of him as my twin sister introduced me to him. Around 1998-99, my friend KC, got engaged to the Pastor's daughter. I found out during that timespan that Mr. Promotion had "raped" the daughter at a party where she was slightly buzzed. She was kind of the prodigal daughter and got in "trouble" from time to time. She was at least 25 at this time and had a young boy. This scandal never made it to the surface besides a handful of church members and I don't even know if the daughter ever told her preacher dad. I decided to do my radio show on church scandals and approached Mr. Promotion on the topic & questioned his involvement with the rape. I know this was a dangerous thing to do 12 yrs later but I did. Not only did he freak out, he told my sister he would sue me. Before I got this news, three days after my first inquiry, I had already decided to change the topic of my show to another one. I didn't want to dredge up old sins and controversy with real life people. The point is, he used his sales techniques on my sister to make me look like the bad guy. Needless to say, there are some people who are dangerous to deal with. I included a post link to his former company to show just how shady he is.
