My heart crumbled inside my soul
for always picking up the pieces of his porcelain heart
That dropped like ash through crushed glass
in my bleeding hands
Oh, to save someone in their lost luster
like a resurrected grave upon a hill
before their last breath
to feel once again
the limbs intertwined with good fortune
as their tears turn dry
in the forgotten night
O, lay slumber
in your neptune vows
Can you possess the present
with all it's beauty and contours
rising and falling to the instant beat
of what is there
instead of looking back with sorrow
open you eyes
to the hearth
of this beauty, this time, this unstrayed presence
not forbidden in the blazing
inferno of un-restraint
your follicles tingling
like the whispering wind through the trees as
it dances in the window
your neptune vows
turn to crystal ice
as you ponder a January moon
in the middle of summer
your veins freeze over
and crack the souls of women
as they dress your body
for your wake.
