Just for today
At the center of the universe, is my unmovable faith about my intuition that things will turn out the way they were intended. My fears last week have evaporated. My fight with MV dissolved maybe through relief of his stubbornness or his compromise to know that what we have is more important then a petty political debate. My 12 step meeting is really working although I couldn't make it tonight. I had a friend come from out of town. I understand things so much clearer nowadays. Gambling wasn't the end game and risking my life wasn't either. I am content. I am saving money for another car and two more trips, one to Colorado and one to California. I am tired from the day's events. We had good chicken and I am going to bed. What is the center of your universe? Do you cling to yourself or to people you want to possess while not spending any time in the Word of God? Start with Psalms 51 for those who are so sure of themselves. It's David's anguish after having Bathsheeba's husband, Uriah, killed.
