Stacy Stepford -- character development of someone spiraling out of control

Part fiction.   Part truth.  Entirely speculation.

There is a difference between telling a lie and being a lie.  Your entire life is a iie held up by feeble parameters of predestined choices you didn't even question when you entered the lifelong contract.  Things are good and stable but if one day you were without money or had to struggle or if your husband was not use to you or you lost your house,  would you be able to handle it?  I see people in their bat caves just going with the flow, following the same routine for 35-40 yrs, never even bothering to question their fate.  Yet, it was you in your early 20s that stepped out on flinted Fletcher, that harbored arrow that cascaded into your orbit of ceremony.  He was definitely disposable by certain conditions.  Security by means of marriage was a hurdle not an embrace.  Now that you've conquered years of squeezing his paycheck, have you accomplished contentedness?  Is it peer pressure that forced you to drink so much or is it custom?  Do you emulate other members of your family or are you a true original?  Do you desire to please others with perfecting the art of cooking or do you reserve some time for yourself?  Who are you after all these years?  Do you conceal  your innermost treasures or avoid true thought?  Who are you?
