A fan of my articles sent me this link to my great grandfather's grave and short bio on my grandma Helia Winquist's side of the family. My grandma emigrated from Finland in 1903 when she was 2. My grandma shortened her name from Wirvela to Wirvel. My grandma's mother died in childbirth from blood poisoning when my grandma was 2. Her twin sister's died two weeks after birth.
