The Verdict: to be decided

Is it true we can choose our own future...or do events and circumstances allow us to maneuver into alternate courses?  As a former athlete, I have to mark things over time, and then weigh them.  Jayhun & I have been dating 8 months and 1 week.  Is that significant?  Is it a genuine love, a validation or accomodation of someone 24 yrs my junior?  What is the point?  Time dissipates everything and I find my love for him strong on some days and totally crumbling on others.     I believe the verdict is out.   Now I feel thrown off b/c he is 15 min late....so I will log back on at Midnight and let you know the outcome.
